North Saanich, Central Saanich & Sidney

North SaanichCentral Saanich is predominantly rural with pockets of denser residential neighbourhoods. Two-thirds of this municipality is comprised of ALR farmland.  One of Victoria's most popular tourist attractions, Butchart Gardens is located in Central Saanich at Brentwood Bay.  This is also where many of Vancouver Island's wineries are located, including Church and State Wines, Starling Lane and Winchester Cellars.

North Saanich is located at the northern tip of the Saanich Peninsula and also possesses hundreds of acres of farmland as well as denser residential neighbourhoods. North Saanich is home to the Victoria International Airport (YYJ) and the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal.  North Saanich surrounds Sidney, a beautiful seaside town of 11,000 people that was incorporated in 1952.  Sidney and North Saanich are often considered the gateway to the Gulf Islands as ferry access is from these locations.
